Real estate investing usually includes a series of activities. The process of investing begins with purchasing. An investor purchases the property, does some repairs, renovates it, and then either sells it or rents it out.

WHY IS IT NECESSARY FOR A PHYSICIAN TO INVEST IN REAL ESTATE?
There are numerous reasons why physicians should invest in real estate. Real estate investments mainly aim to accumulate wealth. It also provides long-term security, tax benefits, market appreciation, portfolio diversification, etc.

SOME FACTS ABOUT THE PHYSICIANS IN THE U.S.

Medscape's 2022 physician and taxes report show that many physicians are some of the highest paying taxpayers in the country. In the U.S., most physicians are taxed in the top 10 percent of workers, and most physicians feel overtaxed.

WHY ARE PHYSICIANS IN THE US GETTING RICHER?
Medscape surveyed almost 20,000 doctors actively working in the U.S. According to them, about 50% of physicians surveyed have a net worth under $1 million. However, the other half earns more than $1 million (with 7% over $5 million).

HOW CAN PHYSICIANS CREATE PASSIVE INCOME BY INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE?
Income earned from passive real estate isn't subject to withholding and is taxed based on a taxpayer's bracket. The physician does not need to visit the real estate regularly and can still receive the rental income regularly. He/she can be a hands-off landlord and enjoy the returns.
